FAMILY APPLE TREES

Three varieties of Apples grafted on one tree. The varieties are chosen to ensure even growth and good pollination. Apples are on MM106 or M27. Allow 10-12ft diameter per tree for MM106, 6-8ft for M27.

Trees on MM106 will reach 12-15ft at maturity and trees on M27 will reach 6-8ft at maturity.

 

 

 

FAMILY APPLE B on MM106

Bramley October-March. Large green and red apples which cook to a cram puree with strong acidity and flavour.

Cox Self-Fertile October-January. Orange flush over greenish yellow. Deliciously sweet and enticing with rich, intense aromatic flavour when ripe. Deep cream flesh.

Worcester Pearmain September-October. Regular bearer of sweet scarlet apples. Old favourite.

Egremont Russet October-December. Medium sized, yellow skinned russet, cream flesh, sweet and firm. Delicious, nutty, dry flavour. Very popular.

Fiesta October-March. Red flush on yellow ground. Cox-like flavour, scrunchy and juicy, rich aromatic and sweet.

Sunset November-December. Like an early Cox with aromatic intensely flavoured fruits.

Concorde September-November.

Pale green turning yellow with some russet. Melting, juicy, pale yellow flesh is sweet with a good flavour. High yielding. Self fertile.

Beth August-September. Pale green, turning to pale yellow with smooth skin, Small, sweet juicy flesh. Does not keep so eat straight from the tree.

Conference September-November. Dark olive-green with brown russet fruits. Creamy-white, very juicy flesh. Self fertile.

Williams August-September. Very juicy and sweet pale green turning to yellow. Best ripened on the tree. Medium large.

Doyenne du Comice October-November. Skin green-yellow with brown-red flush. Excellent flavour, white flesh, melting and juicy. Stores well.
